Queensland's Own Manufacturing Exhibition
Established in 2004 and held every two years, Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan) is the established premier exhibition for the Queensland manufacturing industry. Now in its third edition, QMan is fast becoming the meeting place for the Queensland manufacturing community.
A strong and profitable manufacturing industry is vital to Queensland’s future prosperity. Manufacturing is a major contributor to the health of the State’s economy, its quality of life and thriving regions. It is one of Queensland’s biggest providers of full-time jobs, and is a principal driver of exports, investment, innovation, productivity growth and technological change. Manufacturing's strategic importance is further demonstrated by the central role it plays in supporting and driving growth in other key sectors such as construction, agriculture, mining and services.
QMan 2008 was organised by Reed Exhibitions – the organiser’s of the long established National Manufacturing Week.
