PRESS RELEASE: JUNE 2008

Efficiency Works goes green and lean at QMan

Efficiency Works will highlight the advantages of being lean and green on Stand 2206 during the 2008 Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan) at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from October 21-23.

According to Efficiency Works, being green will gain in importance not only because of environmental, but also economic forces. Efficiency Works believes using those forces to push businesses forward will be the key to sustainable success.

The company offers competitive manufacturing training which is structured around lean manufacturing concepts. The on-the-job coaching is said to create maximum ownership and engagement.

Delivered in the workplace, the program focuses on learning through real projects that improve a company’s bottom line. The candidates’ assessments are based on workplace improvement projects and are practical and action oriented, while the courses are nationally accredited and competency based.

Efficiency Works is an Australian business improvement specialist providing cost-effective ways to improve the bottom line of businesses using training and a range of techniques and methodologies, including Lean Thinking.

It trains companies in the leadership, tools and follow-up systems required to be a better business and more profitable.

Benefits are said to include:

  • Staff working with experienced facilitators on improvement projects
  • More staff engagement
  • Improved business environment
