PRESS RELEASE: JULY 2008 Sunlec to show advanced thermal printer at QManSunlec International will demonstrate what it describes as “the ultimate thermal printer” on Stand 2018during the 2008 Queensland Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (QMan) at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from October 21-23. The Grafoplast S12K thermal printer offers fail-proof loading and usage and high-quality results. It is low maintenance and cost-efficient and can produce up to 5000 tags an hour. The printer’s technology and the use of special ribbons allow total flexibility, printing customised tags, plates and adhesive labels on a diverse range of materials including PVC, polyester, ABS and polycarbonate. The Grafoplast wiremarking system is totally interchangeable, and allows the marking of wires, bundles of wires, cables, data cabling, terminal blocks, contractors, relays, PLC panels and large multicore cables – meaning wires or cables can be identified without them needing to be disconnected. Users can produce their own tags using Grafoplast’s Trasp system or, for larger jobs, use the Trasp-compatible S12K thermal printer, or S12000 plotting system – or Sunlec’s in-house marking service.
